Enrollment by Race/Ethnicity

Within the charts I made I provided information about the enrollment by race/ethnicity here at Michigan State University. To not only educate myself about whom I’m attending school with but also my readers. I got the following information from Forbes:
·         American Indian or Alaskan native
0.2%
·         Asian
4.6%
·         Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander
0.1%
·         Black or African American
6.6%
·         Hispanic/Latino
4%
·         White
65.7%
·         Two or More Races
2.5%
·         Race/Ethnicity Unknown
1.2%
·         Non-Resident Alien
15%

The student population is 50,538, with an undergraduate population of 39,143. A lot of students right, like where is all these people at in my everyday life. Obviously, it would be more undergraduate than graduate students. The highest population is white students and the second is Black/African American. Michigan State is still enrolling the largest number of freshman African Americans in the Big Ten and Hispanic freshman students, according to MSU today. Cool right! We have a larger population the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. They have a total of 43,651 students with a undergraduate population of 28,312. GO GREEN GO WHITE!! Look at us being great.
